During the Japanese colonial period, in order to increase the production of mentaiko, experts from Nagasaki Prefecture, known for producing mentaiko in Japan, were hired to teach the production techniques to Taiwan. Taking this as inspiration, a design with subtle Japanese-style lines was created, with a color scheme consisting of a generous reddish-brown color and the orange-yellow color of mentaiko presented in a modern way with pops of color. This creates a visual that is both tasteful and generous.
